Martin Buber (1878–1965), the Austrian-born Israeli Jewish philosopher best known for his existential philosophy of dialogue, was also a poet. Typeset in Gerard Unger’s Swift with art by Courtney Cook, “Power and Love” was printed letterpress in two colors on Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton paper measuring eleven and a half by seventeen and a half inches.
